2 questions...is there going to be a novice or amateur class? I will be 18 at the time of the tournament, but will be turning 19 in october. Will i be allowed to sign up for the junior division?

Hey Mike,

First to answer question 1, there is no novice and/or amatuer class at Unified Nationals. Open Only aside from the age division classes (Youth and Masters)

However, the USAA Nationals in Reno, NV has both novice and amatuer classes (in May)

Also the AAA Nationals in San Antonio, TX (in June) has novice class but no amateur.

As to question 2, I will let Denise and Leonard chime in here as to whether your age is calculated as of the tourney or the end of the year 2010 because I am not sure.

Trips with the tour company will be scheduled to depart from the host hotel at the Holiday Inn. Make your reservations soon.

As to the question on the junior class, you cannot turn 19 on or before Dec 31, 2010.

We have set up a travel agency to book day trips/tours for the Armwrestlers that come to Billings. If you book early there may be some discounts available. You are picked up at the Holiday Inn for any of the excursions so you don't have to rent a car if you don't want to.
Please call for information.
